Presentation in State Science Fair 2013

Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha's presentation on root cause of superstition and blind belief and organisation's activity to eradicate it from society at Umakanta Academy (English Medium) in State Science Fair.Presentation displays presence of various form of superstitions like 'witch' hunting,astrology,believing 'God's activity' in rare natural phenomena,Showing magic in the name of miracle,exorcists false claim of curing various diseases like snakebite etc.Organization investigate and reacts in those matter and disclosed the truth among common people of the state.Organization identified poor health and education system and lack of capacity to purchase the products of modern science are main causes behind superstition and blind belief.Organization also anxious  about State's sponsorship in religious activities and promoting astrology as a subject for degree.

Street Corner meeting against killing of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar

Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha organised two street corner meeting today at Post Office Chowmuhani and Math Chowmuhani to protest against the killing of Dr. Narendra Dabholkar.Organization demanded immediate arrest of the assailants and exemplary punishment.The fight against superstitions and so called miracles can not be stopped by killing a person like Dr. Dabholkar.Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha will try to bring a bill like Anti-magic bill in Tripura Legislative Assembly in near future.

ORGANISATION URGE UPON ALL RATIONALIST & FREE THINKING PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY TO STAND AGAINST THIS BARBARIC MUSCLE  FLEXING OF REACTIONARY FORCES. LET US NOT BE FOOLED BY THE LIP SERVICE OF PARLIAMENTARY PARTIES OF ALL SHADES WHO NOW JOINED THEIR DIRTY HAND TO PROTEST AGAINST THE INCIDENT BUT WERE HAND IN GLOVE TO BLOCK PASSAGE OF ANTI SUPERSTITION BILL. RATIONALIST OF THE COUNTRY MUST RAISE VOICE FOR DECLARING RELIGION AS PRIVATE MATTER AND BE DIVORCED FROM STATES BUSINESS AND RETRIEVE TRUE SECULARISM. ALL AGNOSTICS,  ATHEISTS, MATERIALISTS, FOLLOWERS OF SCIENTIFIC SPIRIT MUST JOIN HAND IN THIS STRUGGLE. TRIPURA YUKTIBAD BIKASH MANCHA WILL CONTINUE ITS FIGHT UNTIL GOAL IS REACHED. 

A Street Corner on Hiroshima Day

A street corner was organised by Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha on 6th August at City Centre premise,Agartala.The speakers narrated the reason behind dropping of atom bombs in Hiroshima and Nagashaki and how wars are still going on all over the world.Without overthrowing imperialist system one can not think to establish peace on this planet.So everybody must conscious about imperialist system  and how they compel common people to participate war in various pretext.Singing and recitation was done on this perspective.

 

Health Camp at Panchamukh Primary School

A health camp was organised by South Badharghat unit of Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha on 14th July at Panchamukh primary school.More than 3oo patient was treated and medicine was distributed free of cost.It was an endeavour to unite with local people to build peoples' health movement to solve health problems in future.Members also conducted a survey among 500 families in that locality to acknowledge their socio-economic and health condition.
