GHOST IN TRIPURA ASSEMBLY HOUSE

This is not the first time when capital complex experienced the presence of spirit. Infect organisation told no individual is responsible for such kind of believe. The social environment where we growing is the source of all kind of unscientific,superstitious thoughts.from education curriculum to mass media all are the propagator of ghost-spirit & other supernatural thoughts. But we really surprised to see the role of govt. Ministers & administrators of the state always give us advise to be rationalist, but our question is 'how'? in a state where assembly becomes a place for worship to free from spiritual power, what can expect from a common man? in science exhibition/fair we listen the speeches about scientific temperament, but there is no action in practical field. science & technology dept did not take any step to create scientific temperament among the people. is it possible to make a 'puja' without taking concern of higher authority??? so who will make our people progressive?

WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY OBSERVATION

It was 5th June,world environment day. 'TRIPURA YUKTIBAD BIKASH MANCHA' organised a street corner at orient chowmuhani,agartala. program started with a song sung & written by the members of T.Y.B.M. Organisation condemn all type of fake & motivated state propaganda regarding environment.members said that ruling class of the society make pollution by deforestation, carbon emission from factories, exploiting all water resources for trading.but in all propaganda they blame common people for all type of pollution.organisation ask,how many trees were cut down by common people? on the other side 70% of the rain forest abolished by corporate houses. organisation oppose water privatization & metering policy in the name of water wastage & water crisis.org announced that environment policy & research should driven by people interest, not by profit.

‘Daini’ incident at Lephunga : Family forced to flight

On 30^th March peoples of Udai Senapati Para under Lephunga P.S. gathered together and declared a woman of mid thirty of that locality as ‘witch’. They brought that woman in their meeting by force and tried to punish her. Prompt action from local P.S. saved her life. She, her husband and son are now in police custody for security reason. Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha investigating team went there next morning and found a dispute between two families over a land. One woman of one family was suffering from mental illness for long and from last year after the dispute she claiming herself as accused woman (who belong to other family) in her abnormal behavior. Her husband told others that the accused woman as ‘dainy’ and his wife will be cured only if the accused woman was executed. He convinced others with his power and money. He is not ready to accept modern treatment for his wife.

Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha found that ‘dainy’ belief is common amongst tribal people and various diseases especially mental diseases are treated by Uchais’(exorcist from their community). Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha demands free treatment facilities for those people and creating an atmosphere to accept modern medical science.

Science awareness programme at Durganagar High School

 Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha was invited on 22nd March to present a Science awareness programme at Durganagar Bhadrabati High School in Sipahijala District.Organisation exposed the claims that Astrology is a science with a video presentation.

Explaining 'Miracle' Programme at Rahimpur School(Sonamura).

Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha performed an Explaining ‘Miracle’ programme on 6th March 2014 at Rahimpur H.S. School under Monaural sub-division.Members of TYBM demonstrate the science behind so called miracles performed by SadhuBabas.Organisation also expose the socio-economic aspects & uncertainties of present society from where all the superstitions & blind beliefs rises. Programme was highly interactive with students & guardians.
