Five member delegation of TYBM today reached South Bagma samatal para H.S. school with a bundle of miracle to be explain in front of enthusiastic teachers & students of the school who were more than forthcoming in welcoming organisation in the school today. Satyendra Paul(dulal) & ashish das both from Ganabigyan o sanskritik mancha, were the main catalyst of the program. in the last session titled 'in search of causes of sustenance of supernatural & irrational belief in the society'. organisation opined that unless benefits of science are extended to the masses of the people & scientific education system is built & patronage of these are stopped from State these beliefs are bound to reign the minds of the common mass. people science movement is to be directed towards that. 'Anwesane', the mouth piece of tybm was distributed among the teachers & students.

29th August Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha members conducted a seminar aided by audio visuals on the "causes of sustenance of irrational and supernatural belief in the society "at Govt. Degree college , Dharmanagar.Enthusiastic professors and students' were present in the seminar. Organisation emphaticlly reiterated that supernatural and irrational belief is just an anachronism in this modern age of science but majority of the masses deprived of the benefit of science and state and media patronage of such retrogressive phiolosophy isthe main reason of sustenance of blind belief in the society.Organisation urged the teachers and students'to come forward for the cause and unite with science activists

on 28th august, Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha conducted an anti superstition talk show at Baragol high school near kadamtala, North Tripura, in collaboration with science club of the school. local science members were also present in the interactive session.

 ত্রিপুরা স্টেট কাউন্সিল ফর সায়েন্স এন্ড টেকনোলজি কর্তৃক আগরতলা প্রেস ক্লাবে আয়োজিত ওয়েস্ট ডিসট্রিক্ট সায়েন্স কম্যুনিকেটর্স কনক্লেভে আমন্ত্রিত হয়ে ত্রিপুরা যুক্তিবাদ বিকাশ মঞ্চের সদস্যরা উপস্থিত থাকে। উক্ত অনুষ্ঠানে গোমতী সায়েন্স ফোরাম এর পক্ষ থেকে শ্রী অয়ন সাহা গোমতী জেলায় তাদের কাজের রিপোর্ট পেশ করেন। তাদের বিভিন্ন কার্যকলাপ এক সচিত্র উপস্থাপনার মাধ্যমে প্রাঞ্জল ভাবে ব্যাখা করেন। কাজের অগ্রগতির পাশাপাশি উদয়পুরে জনৈক সাধুর জলপরা নিয়ে যে জনউন্মাদনা সৃষ্টি হয়েছে তাকে নিরসন করা যে অন্যান্য বজরুকিগুলির পর্দা ফাঁস করার মত সহজ নয় তা তার বক্তব্যে উঠে আসে। সুতরাং মাঠে নেমে বিজ্ঞান আন্দোলন করার ক্ষেত্রে প্রকৃত সমস্যাগুলি সম্পর্কে প্রশ্ন থেকেই যায়। সংগঠনের একজন সদস্য অলৌকিকতা ও কুসংস্কারের সামজিক উৎস সম্পর্কে আলোচনা করেন। বক্তার বক্ত্যবে বর্তমান সমাজে ধর্মের প্রেক্ষাপটে অলৌকিকতা কি করে টিকে আছে, শাসক শ্রেণী কিভাবে উদ্দেশ্যপ্রণোদিতভাবে অলৌকিকতা ও ধর্মকে সরাসরিভাবে প্রোৎসাহিত করে টিকিয়ে রাখছে, বিজ্ঞানের সুফলগুলি থেকে কেন আজও বেশীরভাগ মানুষ বঞ্চিত রয়েছে ইত্যাদি বিভিন্ন বিষয় উঠে আসে । তিনি বলেন বিজ্ঞান আন্দোলনের কর্মীদের চেতনাগত দিক থেকে দোদুল্যমান হলে চলবে না, দৈনন্দিন বিজ্ঞানচর্চায় ব্যবহারিক ক্ষেত্রে যেসব ঘটনাগুলির সম্মুখীন আমরা হই তাকে তো দূর করতেই হবে পাশাপাশি দর্শনগত দিক থেকে কুসংস্কার সহ অলৌকিকতা টিকে থাকার আসল উৎসটিকে চিহ্নিত করে নিজেদের অবস্থান সুস্পষ্ট করতে হবে। বিজ্ঞান কর্মীদের অলৌকিকতা ও কুসংস্কারের এই উৎসগুলি সম্পর্কে সচেতন থেকে এই লড়াই চালিয়ে যেতে হবে এবং শুধুমাত্র সরকারের ভরসায় বসে না থেকে জনগণকে সংগঠিত করে তাদের সাথে নিয়ে জন আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে এর মূলোৎপাটন করতে হবে বলে উল্লেখ করেন।অনুষ্ঠানের শেষের দিকে প্রশ্নোত্তর পর্বে দর্শকরা অংশগ্রহণ করেন। ত্রিপুরা যুক্তিবাদ বিকাশ মঞ্চের আলোচনার প্রেক্ষিতে উল্লেখযোগ্য ভাবে যে প্রশ্নগুলি দর্শকদের মাঝখান থেকে উঠে আসে তা হল- '' একদিকে বিজ্ঞানের জয়গান ও অন্যদিকে ধর্ম তথা অলৌকিকতাকে প্রমোট করা নিয়ে রাষ্ট্রের দ্বিচারিতা কেন? ",
"ত্রিপুরা রাজ্যে ট্রেড লাইসেন্সের মাধ্যমে বিভিন্ন জ্যোতিষরা যে ব্যবসা চালাচ্ছে তাদের আইনি মান্যতা কে দিচ্ছে?", "রাজ্যে রাজন্য আমল থেকে চলে আসা বলি প্রথা এখনও কেন রাষ্ট্রীয় মদতে ঘটে চলছে?" ইত্যাদি। সবশেষে ওয়েস্ট ডিসট্রিক্ট সায়েন্স ফোরাম কমিটি গঠনের মাধ্যমে সভা শেষ হয়।

Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha  on 9th august organised a street corner in front of city center, agartala. program was attended by the activists of organisation & many eminent persons. the house & surrounding passer by were enliven by 'sankhachil' the famous anti nuclear song of Hemanga Biswas sung by eminent singer Sri Gour das. A recitation of Sri Arijit Banik from a poem written by member of the organisation, given a new dimension to the street corner.
speakers from organisation exposed the sinister design of imperialism behind on going wars & conflict across the globe. they spoke, at this moribund stage of capitalism it cant survive without war. monopoly groups across the globe are fighting among themselves for source of raw material, market & strategic hegemony & using common & toiling mass as cannon fodder. they also spoke that identifying monopoly capitalism/imperialism in our own country & the state is prerequisite for attaining victory over imperialism vanish war forever.
