Science consciousness programme in Thelakung,Killa

Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha organized science consciousness campaign in Thelakung school and Thelakung bazaar on 17th August with the help of local people.This area is a tribal dominant backward place.Recently a septuagenarian woman was severely tortured in the name of being a 'Dainy'(witch). Organization initiated to take legal and administrative action against the accused persons.Some advanced youth invited organization to perform consciousness programme among school children and local masses.Organization showed some audio visual and practical presentation to overcome supernatural belief.

Remembering Satarupa

Satarupa Saha,20 member of Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha died on 30-5-2012.Her sudden death shocked all of us.She was enthusiastic,active in programme and did her best to complete the task given to her.A condolence meeting held on 10th June 5 pm at Sishubihar school.Organization members,her classmates and relatives were present on that meeting.

Street corner on Hiroshima Day

Commemorating atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6th and 9th August respectively as an aftermath of world war II ,Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha organised a street corner in front of City Centre, Agartala.Organization,through music and song,lecture session and recitation expressed the view that imperialist world system is source of all military conflicts across the present day world and lasting peace can only come after rooting out of imperialist world system.Organization called upon people to become conscious about source of war and act accordingly.

Rally on World Environment Day



A rally was organized on 5th June like earlier years. Banners and Placards heralding views of the organization on environment issues. Rally march forward through the crowd streets of Agartala city and culminated into a mass meeting at Battala.
