'TRIPURA YUKTIBAD BIKASH MANCHA' traverses along difficult terrains of gandacherra. plight of tribal people in the inaccessible hamlets and untold stories experienced by five member delegation of the organisation. Ivestigation team visited remote & inaccessible villages of kalyansingh ADC village namely GIRACHARAN PARA, WANASA PARA & KRISHNACHANDRA PARA. malaria outbreak manifestation were evident as early as middle of may but health administration woke up after 10th june when already 9 people were dead. The plight of tripuris in the far flung villages were evident from the malnourished, pale looking, half clad, impoverist jhumias. Deserted infant in the bamboo make 'tong ghar's', who's parents were struggling in the jhums, harvesting for 3 manth's food, told all untold stories to the visitors. That reminded WHO slogan 'MALARIA IS A DISEASE OF POVERTY'. Total lack of disease prevention activities like DDT spraying in advance, providing insecticide impregnated mosquito nets, blood sample collection in advance was not carried out before the death toll had mountain. Delegates of TYBM taken the blood sample of some villagers for malaria test.

'TRIPURA YUKTIBAD BIKASH MANCHA' was invited by 'Tripura upajati karmachari committee' to conduct an awareness program among the devipur villagers of shantir bazar (south tripura). program was focused on superstition, bad habit of gambling, addiction & witch hunting. representatives of organisation demonstrate fake superstitious practices before the people. members explain how science can change our life. but existing socio-economic system is a barrier to achieve that goal for all. organisation has boldly emphasized on the exploitation amongst the poor villagers, if they are drowned in the superstition & blind belief, will not come forward to the struggle of availing the facility of innovation of science. for this a conscious afford has been made from the upper class of the prevailing system to live this. through theory of provability organisation communicate how gambling can destroy us. about addiction members said that this is bad for many & good for few. addiction destroy our feeling & power of thinking. organisation ask the people if we drunk whole day than who will raise our demand for proper health & education? TYBM said that addiction can make you free for one night, but our tomorrow will be same. 'TRIPURA YUKTIBAD BIKASH MANCHA' share all experiences of investigation of witch hunting cases of tripura. narrators narrate how poor health system & property disputes are liable for this incidents. some people of vested interest take the chances to blame some one. distance from the main stream of life is the root cause of prevailing such believes.
