TRIPURA YUKTIBAD BIKASH MANCHA CONDEMNS THE GRUESOME & PREMEDITATED KILLING OF NARENDRA  DABHOLKAR EMINENT RATIONALIST CAMPAIGNER  & WRITER ON 20TH AUGUST MORNING . ORGANISATION EXPRESSES SOLIDARITY WITH MAHARASTRA ANDHA SRADDHA NIRMULAN SAMITY  & FAMILY OF THE DECEASED. ORGANISATION URGE UPON ALL RATIONALIST & FREE THINKING PEOPLE OF THE COUNTRY TO STAND AGAINST THIS BARBARIC MUSCLE  FLEXING OF REACTIONARY FORCES. LET US NOT BE FOOLED BY THE LIP SERVICE OF PARLIAMENTARY PARTIES OF ALL SHADES WHO NOW JOINED THEIR DIRTY HAND TO PROTEST AGAINST THE INCIDENT BUT WERE HAND IN GLOVE TO BLOCK PASSAGE OF ANTI SUPERSTITION BILL. INCIDENT ALSO REMINDS US ABOUT STATUS OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH & DEMOCRACY IN OUR COUNTRY AS A WHOLE. THIS IS ALSO AN EYE OPENER FOR THOSE RATIONALIST WHO CONSIDERS SUPERSTITION HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SOCIOECONOMIC STRUCTURE OF THE COUNTRY. RATIONALIST OF THE COUNTRY MUST RAISE VOICE FOR DECLARING RELIGION AS PRIVATE MATTER AND BE DIVORCED FROM STATES BUSINESS AND RETRIEVE TRUE SECULARISM. ALL AGNOSTICS,  ATHEISTS, MATERIALISTS, FOLLOWERS OF SCIENTIFIC SPIRIT MUST JOIN HAND IN THIS STRUGGLE. TRIPURA YUKTIBAD BIKASH MANCHA WILL CONTINUE ITS FIGHT UNTIL GOAL IS REACHED.

A Street Corner on Hiroshima Day

A street corner was organised by Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha on 6th August at City Centre premise,Agartala.The speakers narrated the reason behind dropping of atom bombs in Hiroshima and Nagashaki and how wars are still going on all over the world.Without overthrowing imperialist system one can not think to establish peace on this planet.So everybody must conscious about imperialist system  and how they compel common people to participate war in various pretext.Singing and recitation was done on this perspective.

 

Health Camp at Panchamukh Primary School

A health camp was organised by South Badharghat unit of Tripura Yuktibad Bikash Mancha on 14th July at Panchamukh primary school.More than 3oo patient was treated and medicine was distributed free of cost.It was an endeavour to unite with local people to build peoples' health movement to solve health problems in future.Members also conducted a survey among 500 families in that locality to acknowledge their socio-economic and health condition.
