Yet another witch hunting incident rocked the state when  one women along with her children & husband was driven away from satpara village of purba dinbandhunagar under mandai block, barely 45 km from city of Agartala. Tripura yuktibad bikash mancha rushed to the spot and found that suspicion rose over 'mysterious death' of a villager in recent past.Villagers having deep and long held belief in witch practice found the death inexplicable as body of the deceased did not burn fully while being cremated .Also cause of death of the person in hospital was not explained to the keens. Members of the organisation held a meeting of the villagers and brought people in confidence and negotiating with them to bring back the fled family which may  be successful very soon. Organisation is going to conduct a health awareness camp soon. A few scene of the village and the people.

A team of Yuktibad Bikash Mancha investigated water logged paddy fields of southeastern border area of Agartala, where tons of ripe paddy rots in the field and agonized peasants curse their fate.

But actual reason for water logging  is unscientific construction of high  border road and inadequate no. of drainage culvert that to obstructed by bamboo fencing in the of border security. A few still from the spot.
